Oxford County intends to retain the contracted services for cleaning and CCTV inspection of the County’s sanitary and storm sewers. The County wastewater system includes approximately 675 km of gravity collection sewers of various pipe materials including PVC, AC, Clay and Concrete. The County storm system includes approximately 88 km of gravity collection sewers of various pipe materials including PVC, CSP, DI, HDPE, and Concrete. The County’s current preventative maintenance program includes flushing/cleaning and CCTV inspection in established annual cycles of approximately 15 to 24km of sanitary sewers (including trunk sewers) per year and approximately 6 to 8 km of storm sewers per year. The scope of work generally consists of Flushing, Cleaning and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) inspection of sanitary and CCTV inspection of storm sewers with provisional Flushing and Cleaning as needed within Oxford County. |
