The County intends to retain the contracted services for cleaning and CCTV inspection of the County’s sanitary and storm sewers. The contracted services will also include cleaning and CCTV inspection of the Town of Tillsonburg’s (Service Provider) sanitary sewers. This joint RFP with Oxford County and the Town of Tillsonburg will require two separate agreements and approval authorities. Both the County and the County’s Service Provider(s) will provide the Contractor with a Project Coordinator. These Project Coordinators will manage their respective portion of work within this RFP. The County wastewater system includes approximately 675 km of gravity collection sewers of various pipe materials including polyvinyl chloride (PVC), asbestos concrete (AC), clay and concrete. The County storm system includes approximately 88 km of gravity collection sewers of various pipe materials including PVC, corrugated steel pipe (CSP), ductile iron (DI), high density polyethylene (HDPE), and concrete. The County’s current preventative maintenance program includes flushing/cleaning and CCTV inspection in established annual cycles including trunk sewers. The scope of work generally consists of Flushing, Cleaning and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) inspection of sanitary and CCTV inspection of storm sewers with provisional Flushing and Cleaning as needed within Oxford County. |
