Oxford County intends to construct a net-metering solar photovoltaic (PV) system in 2026. The project consists of a 500 kWAC (750 kWDC) ground mounted system, sized and located on County property near Sweaburg, Ontario and connected back to location on adjacent County owned water treatment facility in a net-metering arrangement.
Contractors who have pre-qualified for similar projects in the past with Oxford County will not be exempt from this pre-qualification process and must complete a submission in order to be considered for these projects.
