The purpose of the proposed construction is to provide long-term slope stability and erosion protection within the affected area, including the construction of an RSS retaining wall system designed to provide long-term stabilization of the slope, while maintaining roadway safety and protecting adjacent environmental features. Due to the nature of the slope failure, the proximity to the roadway, the need for in-water work and dewatering, the works require contractors with demonstrated experience in the following.
• Slope Rehabilitation;
• RSS Retaining Wall construction; and
• Water Management and Erosion and Sediment Control activities within a watercourse.
